Situated in Baras, Rizal, Barangay San Juan is one of 10 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Juan had a population of 4,838. This made it the 4th largest of 10 barangays in Baras by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 5.52% of the total population of Baras, which stood at 87,637 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,506 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,838 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Juan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Baras is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Juan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
