Barangay Cadiao

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Cadiao is one of the administrative divisions of Barbaza in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cadiao had a population of 182. This made it the 32nd largest of 39 barangays in Barbaza by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cadiao accounted for approximately 0.78% of the total population of Barbaza, which stood at 23,359 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cadiao moving from 184 residents to 182 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Cadiao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Barbaza is a municipality comprising 39 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cadiao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
