Barangay Esparar

Barangay Esparar is a small barangay in the municipality of Barbaza, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Esparar had a population of 1,085. This made it the 6th largest of 39 barangays in Barbaza by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Esparar accounted for approximately 4.64% of the total population of Barbaza, which stood at 23,359 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Esparar moving from 1,076 residents to 1,085 residents, an intercensal change of +0.8%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
