Barangay Candugay

Barangay Candugay is a small barangay in the municipality of Barili, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Candugay had a population of 1,918. This made it the 20th largest of 42 barangays in Barili by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Candugay accounted for approximately 2.38% of the total population of Barili, which stood at 80,715 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Candugay moving from 1,777 residents to 1,918 residents, an intercensal change of +7.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Candugay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
