Barangay Abango

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Abango is one of the administrative divisions of Barugo in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Abango had a population of 1,373. This made it the 7th largest of 37 barangays in Barugo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Abango accounted for approximately 3.98% of the total population of Barugo, which stood at 34,497 in the same census year.
