Barangay Santol

Barangay Santol is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Boac, located in the province of Marinduque, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santol had a population of 2,012. This made it the 4th largest of 61 barangays in Boac by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santol accounted for approximately 3.51% of the total population of Boac, which stood at 57,283 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santol moving from 1,670 residents to 2,012 residents, an intercensal change of +20.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Santol is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
