Barangay Trojello

Situated in Bobon, Northern Samar, Barangay Trojello is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Trojello had a population of 917. This made it the 11th largest of 18 barangays in Bobon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Trojello accounted for approximately 3.53% of the total population of Bobon, which stood at 25,964 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 741 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 917 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +23.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Trojello is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bobon is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Trojello, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Northern Samar, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Trojello ranks 247th by 2020 population.
