Barangay Lusok

Situated in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Lusok is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lusok had a population of 2,347. This made it the 13th largest of 28 barangays in Bongabon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lusok accounted for approximately 3.51% of the total population of Bongabon, which stood at 66,839 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lusok moving from 2,248 residents to 2,347 residents, an intercensal change of +4.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lusok as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bongabon is a municipality comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lusok, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
