Barangay Ilio-ilio

Situated in Burgos, Pangasinan, Barangay Ilio-ilio is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ilio-ilio had a population of 2,509. This made it the 3rd largest of 14 barangays in Burgos by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ilio-ilio accounted for approximately 10.56% of the total population of Burgos, which stood at 23,749 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ilio-ilio moving from 2,275 residents to 2,509 residents, an intercensal change of +10.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ilio-ilio as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
