Barangay Harobay

Barangay Harobay is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Calabanga, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Harobay had a population of 2,089. This made it the 12th largest of 48 barangays in Calabanga by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Harobay accounted for approximately 2.35% of the total population of Calabanga, which stood at 88,906 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Harobay moving from 1,814 residents to 2,089 residents, an intercensal change of +15.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Harobay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
