Barangay Pinada

Barangay Pinada is a small barangay in the municipality of Calabanga, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pinada had a population of 726. This made it the 39th largest of 48 barangays in Calabanga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinada accounted for approximately 0.82% of the total population of Calabanga, which stood at 88,906 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pinada moving from 618 residents to 726 residents, an intercensal change of +17.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pinada as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Calabanga is a municipality comprising 48 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pinada, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pinada ranks 868th by 2020 population.
