Barangay San Roque

Situated in Calabanga, Camarines Sur, Barangay San Roque is one of 48 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

This made it the 1st largest of 48 barangays in Calabanga by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Roque accounted for approximately 7.12% of the total population of Calabanga, which stood at 88,906 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,947 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,333 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Roque is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Calabanga is a municipality comprising 48 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Roque, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
