Barangay Dolis

Barangay Dolis is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Calatrava, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dolis had a population of 2,092. This made it the 16th largest of 40 barangays in Calatrava by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dolis accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Calatrava, which stood at 82,540 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dolis moving from 2,333 residents to 2,092 residents, an intercensal change of -10.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Dolis is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
