Barangay Hilub-Ang

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Hilub-Ang is one of the administrative divisions of Calatrava in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Hilub-Ang had a population of 2,211. This made it the 11th largest of 40 barangays in Calatrava by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Hilub-Ang accounted for approximately 2.68% of the total population of Calatrava, which stood at 82,540 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Hilub-Ang moving from 2,348 residents to 2,211 residents, an intercensal change of -5.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
