Situated in Can-Avid, Eastern Samar, Barangay 2 Poblacion is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

This made it the 24th largest of 28 barangays in Can-Avid by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality.
