Barangay Luan

Situated in Candijay, Bohol, Barangay Luan is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Luan had a population of 867. This made it the 19th largest of 21 barangays in Candijay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Luan accounted for approximately 2.88% of the total population of Candijay, which stood at 30,119 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Luan moving from 731 residents to 867 residents, an intercensal change of +18.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
