Barangay Upper Hiraan

Barangay Upper Hiraan is a small barangay in the municipality of Carigara, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Upper Hiraan had a population of 993. This made it the 26th largest of 49 barangays in Carigara by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Upper Hiraan accounted for approximately 1.82% of the total population of Carigara, which stood at 54,656 in the same census year.
