Barangay Ditinagyan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ditinagyan is one of the administrative divisions of Casiguran in Aurora, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ditinagyan had a population of 546. This made it the 19th largest of 24 barangays in Casiguran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ditinagyan accounted for approximately 2.06% of the total population of Casiguran, which stood at 26,564 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ditinagyan moving from 591 residents to 546 residents, an intercensal change of -7.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Ditinagyan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Casiguran is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ditinagyan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
