Barangay Esteves

Barangay Esteves is a small barangay in the municipality of Casiguran, located in the province of Aurora, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Esteves had a population of 1,895. This made it the 5th largest of 24 barangays in Casiguran by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Esteves accounted for approximately 7.13% of the total population of Casiguran, which stood at 26,564 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Esteves moving from 1,793 residents to 1,895 residents, an intercensal change of +5.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Esteves is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Casiguran is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Esteves, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
