Barangay Sogoy

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Sogoy is one of the administrative divisions of Castilla in Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sogoy had a population of 1,839. This made it the 13th largest of 34 barangays in Castilla by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sogoy accounted for approximately 3.03% of the total population of Castilla, which stood at 60,635 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sogoy moving from 1,595 residents to 1,839 residents, an intercensal change of +15.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
