Barangay Pittland

Barangay Pittland is a large barangay in the City of Cabuyao, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pittland had a population of 6,052. This made it the 14th largest of 18 barangays in City of Cabuyao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Pittland accounted for approximately 1.70% of the total population of City of Cabuyao, which stood at 355,330 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pittland changed from 3,235 to 6,052, a shift of +87.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Cabuyao. Barangay Pittland is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabuyao is a city comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pittland, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pittland ranks 145th by 2020 population.
