Situated in City of Cabuyao, Laguna, Barangay San Isidro is one of 18 barangays that make up the city within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 23,324. This made it the 6th largest of 18 barangays in City of Cabuyao by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 6.56% of the total population of City of Cabuyao, which stood at 355,330 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 24,446 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 23,324 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabuyao is a city comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 28th by 2020 population.
