Barangay Mabini

Barangay Mabini is a large barangay in the city of City of Cadiz, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mabini had a population of 9,315. This made it the 6th largest of 22 barangays in City of Cadiz by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Mabini accounted for approximately 5.88% of the total population of City of Cadiz, which stood at 158,544 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mabini moving from 9,419 residents to 9,315 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mabini as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cadiz is a city comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
