Barangay Manguino-o

Barangay Manguino-o forms part of City of Calbayog, a city in Samar, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Manguino-o had a population of 1,181. This made it the 49th largest of 157 barangays in City of Calbayog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Manguino-o accounted for approximately 0.63% of the total population of City of Calbayog, which stood at 186,960 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,213 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,181 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Manguino-o as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Calbayog is a city comprising 157 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Manguino-o, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
