Barangay Naga

Barangay Naga forms part of City of Calbayog, a city in Samar, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Naga had a population of 873. This made it the 60th largest of 157 barangays in City of Calbayog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Naga accounted for approximately 0.47% of the total population of City of Calbayog, which stood at 186,960 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Naga moving from 821 residents to 873 residents, an intercensal change of +6.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Naga as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
