Barangay Oquendo (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Oquendo (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of City of Calbayog in Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Oquendo (Pob.) had a population of 2,154. This made it the 22nd largest of 157 barangays in City of Calbayog by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Oquendo (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.15% of the total population of City of Calbayog, which stood at 186,960 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Oquendo (Pob.) moving from 2,204 residents to 2,154 residents, an intercensal change of -2.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
