Barangay Sinidman Oriental

Barangay Sinidman Oriental is a small barangay in the city of City of Calbayog, located in the province of Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sinidman Oriental had a population of 674. This made it the 77th largest of 157 barangays in City of Calbayog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Sinidman Oriental accounted for approximately 0.36% of the total population of City of Calbayog, which stood at 186,960 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sinidman Oriental moving from 679 residents to 674 residents, an intercensal change of -0.7%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sinidman Oriental as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
