Barangay Punta

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Punta is one of the administrative divisions of City of Dipolog in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Punta had a population of 3,134. This made it the 14th largest of 21 barangays in City of Dipolog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Punta accounted for approximately 2.27% of the total population of City of Dipolog, which stood at 138,141 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Punta moving from 2,923 residents to 3,134 residents, an intercensal change of +7.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Punta is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
