Barangay Camanjac

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Camanjac is one of the administrative divisions of City of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Camanjac had a population of 4,859. This made it the 12th largest of 30 barangays in City of Dumaguete by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Camanjac accounted for approximately 3.62% of the total population of City of Dumaguete, which stood at 134,103 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Camanjac moving from 4,397 residents to 4,859 residents, an intercensal change of +10.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Camanjac as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
