Barangay Mabunga

Barangay Mabunga forms part of City of Guihulngan, a city in Negros Oriental, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mabunga had a population of 1,858. This made it the 23rd largest of 33 barangays in City of Guihulngan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mabunga changed from 1,826 to 1,858, a shift of +1.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in City of Guihulngan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mabunga as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
