Barangay Sandayao

Barangay Sandayao forms part of City of Guihulngan, a city in Negros Oriental, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sandayao had a population of 3,537. This made it the 10th largest of 33 barangays in City of Guihulngan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Sandayao accounted for approximately 3.45% of the total population of City of Guihulngan, which stood at 102,656 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sandayao moving from 3,376 residents to 3,537 residents, an intercensal change of +4.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
