Barangay Bucandala I

Barangay Bucandala I is a large barangay in the city of City of Imus, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bucandala I had a population of 9,935. This made it the 12th largest of 97 barangays in City of Imus by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Bucandala I accounted for approximately 2.00% of the total population of City of Imus, which stood at 496,794 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bucandala I moving from 5,602 residents to 9,935 residents, an intercensal change of +77.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
