Barangay Hilamonan

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Hilamonan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Kabankalan in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Hilamonan had a population of 16,745. This made it the 1st largest of 32 barangays in City of Kabankalan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Hilamonan accounted for approximately 8.36% of the total population of City of Kabankalan, which stood at 200,198 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Hilamonan moving from 13,869 residents to 16,745 residents, an intercensal change of +20.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
