Barangay Tagoc

Situated in City of Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, Barangay Tagoc is one of 32 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagoc had a population of 3,557. This made it the 22nd largest of 32 barangays in City of Kabankalan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Tagoc accounted for approximately 1.78% of the total population of City of Kabankalan, which stood at 200,198 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,348 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,557 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tagoc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
