Barangay Santo Niño

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Santo Niño is one of the administrative divisions of City of Koronadal in South Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 16,062. This made it the 3rd largest of 27 barangays in City of Koronadal by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 8.22% of the total population of City of Koronadal, which stood at 195,398 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Niño changed from 10,770 to 16,062, a shift of +49.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Koronadal. Barangay Santo Niño is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Koronadal is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Niño, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
