Barangay Sarabia

Barangay Sarabia is a large barangay in the City of Koronadal, located in the province of South Cotabato, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sarabia had a population of 9,420. This made it the 6th largest of 27 barangays in City of Koronadal by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Sarabia accounted for approximately 4.82% of the total population of City of Koronadal, which stood at 195,398 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sarabia moving from 8,935 residents to 9,420 residents, an intercensal change of +5.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Sarabia is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Koronadal is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sarabia, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
