Barangay Nasisi

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Nasisi is one of the administrative divisions of City of Ligao in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nasisi had a population of 1,982. This made it the 25th largest of 55 barangays in City of Ligao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Nasisi accounted for approximately 1.68% of the total population of City of Ligao, which stood at 118,096 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,879 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,982 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Nasisi is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Ligao is a city comprising 55 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nasisi, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Albay, which contains 720 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Nasisi ranks 235th by 2020 population.
