Barangay Tomolin

Situated in City of Ligao, Albay, Barangay Tomolin is one of 55 barangays that make up the city within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tomolin had a population of 1,288. This made it the 40th largest of 55 barangays in City of Ligao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Tomolin accounted for approximately 1.09% of the total population of City of Ligao, which stood at 118,096 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tomolin changed from 1,458 to 1,288, a shift of -11.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Ligao. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tomolin as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
