Barangay Combado

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Combado is one of the administrative divisions of City of Maasin in Southern Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Combado had a population of 5,854. This made it the 1st largest of 70 barangays in City of Maasin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Combado accounted for approximately 6.69% of the total population of City of Maasin, which stood at 87,446 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Combado moving from 5,835 residents to 5,854 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Combado as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Maasin is a city comprising 70 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Combado, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
