Barangay Libertad

Barangay Libertad is a very small barangay in the City of Maasin, located in the province of Southern Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Libertad had a population of 432. This made it the 66th largest of 70 barangays in City of Maasin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Libertad accounted for approximately 0.49% of the total population of City of Maasin, which stood at 87,446 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Libertad moving from 428 residents to 432 residents, an intercensal change of +0.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
