Barangay Santa Rosa

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Santa Rosa is one of the administrative divisions of City of Maasin in Southern Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Rosa had a population of 228. This made it the 70th largest of 70 barangays in City of Maasin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Santa Rosa accounted for approximately 0.26% of the total population of City of Maasin, which stood at 87,446 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Rosa changed from 215 to 228, a shift of +6.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Maasin. Barangay Santa Rosa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Maasin is a city comprising 70 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Rosa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
