Barangay Libudon

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Libudon is one of the administrative divisions of City of Mati in Davao Oriental, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Libudon had a population of 2,492. This made it the 16th largest of 26 barangays in City of Mati by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Libudon accounted for approximately 1.69% of the total population of City of Mati, which stood at 147,547 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Libudon changed from 2,168 to 2,492, a shift of +14.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Mati. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Libudon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Mati is a city comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Libudon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
