Barangay Man-it

Situated in City of Passi, Iloilo, Barangay Man-it is one of 51 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Man-it had a population of 4,633. This made it the 2nd largest of 51 barangays in City of Passi by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Man-it accounted for approximately 5.21% of the total population of City of Passi, which stood at 88,873 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Man-it changed from 4,764 to 4,633, a shift of -2.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Passi. Barangay Man-it is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Passi is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Man-it, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Man-it ranks 22nd by 2020 population.
