Barangay Mantulang

Barangay Mantulang is a small barangay in the City of Passi, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mantulang had a population of 561. This made it the 47th largest of 51 barangays in City of Passi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Mantulang accounted for approximately 0.63% of the total population of City of Passi, which stood at 88,873 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mantulang changed from 511 to 561, a shift of +9.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Passi. Barangay Mantulang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Passi is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mantulang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
