Barangay Poblacion Ilawod

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Poblacion Ilawod is one of the administrative divisions of City of Passi in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion Ilawod had a population of 5,954. This made it the 1st largest of 51 barangays in City of Passi by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Ilawod accounted for approximately 6.70% of the total population of City of Passi, which stood at 88,873 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,288 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,954 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Poblacion Ilawod is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
