Barangay Sablogon

Situated in City of Passi, Iloilo, Barangay Sablogon is one of 51 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sablogon had a population of 2,527. This made it the 13th largest of 51 barangays in City of Passi by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Sablogon accounted for approximately 2.84% of the total population of City of Passi, which stood at 88,873 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,343 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,527 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Sablogon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Passi is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sablogon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Sablogon ranks 147th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
