Situated in City of Sagay, Negros Occidental, Barangay Baviera is one of 25 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

This made it the 23rd largest of 25 barangays in City of Sagay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Baviera accounted for approximately 1.77% of the total population of City of Sagay, which stood at 148,894 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Baviera changed from 2,601 to 2,640, a shift of +1.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in City of Sagay.
