Barangay Fabrica

Barangay Fabrica is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Sagay, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Fabrica had a population of 4,896. This made it the 12th largest of 25 barangays in City of Sagay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Fabrica accounted for approximately 3.29% of the total population of City of Sagay, which stood at 148,894 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Fabrica changed from 4,965 to 4,896, a shift of -1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in City of Sagay. Barangay Fabrica is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Sagay is a city comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Fabrica, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Negros Occidental, which contains 662 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Fabrica ranks 191st by 2020 population.
