Barangay Cuyab

Barangay Cuyab forms part of City of San Pedro, a city in Laguna, and is classified as a very large barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cuyab had a population of 21,422. This made it the 6th largest of 27 barangays in City of San Pedro by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Cuyab accounted for approximately 6.57% of the total population of City of San Pedro, which stood at 326,001 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 21,731 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 21,422 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.4%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cuyab as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Pedro is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cuyab, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
