Barangay G.S.I.S.

Barangay G.S.I.S. is a mid-sized barangay in the City of San Pedro, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay G.S.I.S. had a population of 2,828. This made it the 26th largest of 27 barangays in City of San Pedro by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay G.S.I.S. accounted for approximately 0.87% of the total population of City of San Pedro, which stood at 326,001 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,867 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,828 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.4%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay G.S.I.S. is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Pedro is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay G.S.I.S., including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
